Full-Time $12-$16/hr, Monday-Saturday, preferred in or has completed Tech School.

 Automotive Mechanic – Auto Maintenance Technician
(Vehicle Maintenance / Customer Service / Auto Dealership / Full Time)


Job Responsibilities

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will put into action your commitment to fix any repairs right the first time by performing heavy, medium, and light mechanical diagnosis and repairs on vehicles as assigned by the service consultant. This will involve, using your detail, quality and service-oriented skills, to diagnose the cause of most vehicle malfunctions and specializing in particular types of repair, to ensure quality maintenance service.

Specific duties for this maintenance technician role include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting technicians and providing technical information, as needed
  • Performing quality control of workmanship while work is in process
  • Supervising work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
  • Providing efficient, courteous service that exceeds the expectations of our guests and team members
  • Leading by example with a positive attitude to motivate team members

Job Requirements


We are looking for a safety-minded Auto Maintenance Technician who combines a strong mechanical and technical aptitude and service-oriented approach, with the highest level of integrity, self-motivation and the desire to develop a long-term career within the company. It is also vital to this role that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work both independently or as part of a team to achieve service goals in a fast-paced challenging environment.

Specific qualifications for this full time automotive maintenance role include:

  • College certificate in automotive systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current and valid driver’s license and reputable driving record
  • ASE Certification in specialized area(s); ASE Master Certification, preferred
  • Ability to supervise, coach and mentor less experienced technicians
  • Thorough understanding about automotive systems and product knowledge
  • Ability and willingness to maintain current product and technical knowledge
